Scam Targeting Exhibitors

 

It has been brought to our attention that a company named Event Housing Planners is targeting our exhibitors offering a reduced rate for lodging at the Galt House. We believe they are accessing the exhibit hall layout and retrieving contact information from this site.

 

This company says the lodging rate has been adjusted and you paid too much when making your reservations. They take your information and request a deposit. If you agree to use their service, they will book a room through Expedia, which removes you from the KRWA room block.

 

They list a phone number of 704.253.4544; website: eventshp.net; and emails come from support@eventshp.neteventshp.neteventshp.neteventshp.neteventshp.net.

 

This company is not associated with the Galt House or Kentucky Rural Water Association.

Registration substitutions are welcome anytime; however, KRWA will charge a $50 processing fee for EACH CANCELLATION.
