Water Treatment Operator (Central City)

Job Listing:

The Central City Municipal Water Treatment Plant is currently hiring for the position of "Operator." 

Responsibilities: Quality control testing, sample collection, SCADA monitoring & general plant
operations.

Qualifications: Applicant must have a GED or equivalent; Bachelor of Science degree preferred
but not required. Applicants MUST currently hold a KY Class III or Class IV surface water treatment license. This is NOT a trainee position. Applicants must possess a valid Kentucky drivers license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Applicants must be able to work some nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Compensation:

Class III: $24.00 per hour (starting pay)

Class IV: $30.00 per hour (starting pay)
