Central City Municipal Water Treatment Plant Operator

The Central City Municipal Water Treatment Plant is hiring for the position of “Operator.” 

Responsibilities: Quality control testing, sample collection, SCADA monitoring & general plant operations. 

Qualifications: Applicant must have a GED or equivalent; Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not required. Applicants must currently hold a Class III or Class IV surface water treatment license. Some laboratory experience preferred. Must possess a valid Kentucky drivers license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. 

Applicants must be able to work some nights, weekends and/or holidays. The starting date for this position will be after July 1st, 2023.

Compensation: 

Class III Operators: $24.00 per hour 

Class IV Operators: $30.00 per hour
