City Maintenance (City of Augusta)

The City of Augusta has an immediate opening for a CITY MAINTENANCE WORKER.  If a High School Graduate or equivalent; no previous work experience is required, however, related work experience may serve as substitute for GED as a minimum qualification.

Performs manual skilled and semi-skilled work of a varied nature in the installation, construction, maintenance, operation and/or cleanliness of streets, parks, wastewater collection system, water distribution system, and gas distribution system; performs related work as required.

Pay will be based upon qualification and or experience.

Must be able to work irregular hours and able to respond to calls in emergency situations at all hours.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
