Office Manager (Finance & Administrative) CFO
Lebanon Water Works Company is seeking a qualified person responsible for financial accounting, human resources; payroll; administrative manager; assist Operations & Management Superintendent in administrative functions
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative manager
- Directs and supervises administrative personnel; advises Operations & Management Superintendent regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion and discipline
- Reconcile and monitor bank accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements; advise Operations & Management Superintendent and Board of Directors concerning all matters pertaining to the operation and general state of affairs of the Company
- Payroll; payroll taxes; W-2’s;1099’s
- Maintain and reconcile depreciation journals
- General ledger; posting; adjusting entries; end of month entries; end of year closing
- Process accounts payable; obtain approvals; process payments
- Oversees and assists in annual audit
- Inventory oversight and reconciliation
- Insurance oversight and maintenance
- Maintain official records, files, documents
- Human Resource officer; maintain employee insurance plans; maintain employee personnel files; adhere to Labor Laws; maintain Lebanon Water Works policies and procedures policies manual; see that all policies are adhered to; performs employee evaluations of direct reports
- Prepare and monitor budget; process annual reports
- Participate in special projects; submit reports as required
- Monitor tariffs for compliance
- Maintain and monitor records retention compliance
- Monitor and reconcile billings for sewer and garbage
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and special meetings after normal work hours
- Other duties as directed by Lebanon Water Works management as deemed necessary to the operation of the Company
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s degree in accounting & CPA preferred; some college work may be accepted
- Five years experience in; accounting; human resources; management
- Or in the discretion of the Operations & Management Superintendent, any equivalent combination of experience and training, certifications or licenses which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
