WATER CONTINUES TO FLOW, UTILITIES UNITE 

BOWLING GREEN, KY – Warren Water maintained service with no interruptions during and after the storms thanks to a team of dedicated water professionals along with various partners and utilities from the region.

Warren Water emergency response began at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning shutting down all pumping systems, monitoring storage, and determining areas where the biggest system impacts were located. The greatest challenges included shutting off service due to building destruction within residential/industrial areas and electrical service interruption to a large portion of the 100 pumping stations that serve the system.  

We commend the strength of BGMU and WRECC in responding to natural disasters. Warren Water appreciates their support in returning service to our pumping stations, allowing for uninterrupted service
