Licensed Wastewater Plant Operator

The City of McKee is looking to hire licensed wastewater treatment plant operator.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for running and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant during their shift. This job involves both physical labor and sedentary duties, and may require the employee to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Running tests

-Keeping daily logs

-Maintaining water levels

-Cleaning the plant

-Refill chemicals as necessary

Requirements:

-Highschool Diploma, GED, or equivalent

-Valid driver’s license

-Class I or II Water Treatment Plant Operators License

Salary is competitive and negotiable. Other benefits include IRA retirement plan, health insurance, PTO, limited tuition discounts, and paid holidays. The City of McKee also qualifies as a Public Service Loan Forgiveness employer.
